Sig Sauer was the winner of 9 of 15 lifetime starts. At the age of 2, he won 4 of 5 starts while taking a record of 1:53.3 winning the New Jersey Sire Stakes Final. Sig Sauer was the fastest 3-year-old trotter of 2024 by virtue of his 1:49.3 win in the Kentucky Futurity. This was the only sub 1:50 win by any 3-year-old trotter that season. In addition to the Kentucky Futurity, victories by Sig Sauer at 3 included his division of the Stanley Dancer, The Beal, and the final of the Breeders Crown. A $200,000 yearling purchase, Sig Sauer is a breathtakingly handsome son of the great Muscle Hill from a great maternal family that includes Back Of The Neck 1:51 $1,463,646, Broadway Donna 1:51,1 $1,434,735 and Fashion Schooner 1:50 $765,374. A mare in foal to Sig Sauer sold for $400,00 in the recently concluded Harrisburg Sale.
